Why are vitamins, minerals and nutrients important?

The vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that we consume in our diet are absorbed into our bloodstream and used for all sorts of biochemical and cellular purposes in our bodies. What are B12 shots?

Vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin that contains the mineral cobalt and is therefore also known as COBALAMIN (the Cobalt Vitamin).
